What is the ideal Oxford student like? (Physics)

I’m not doing A-levels but something else, and I’m pretty sure I’ll do well in it. The problem is, I have no idea how to build my application for Oxford because where I’m from, not many people apply there, so there’s not much guidance available.

Right now, I’m reading The Feynman Lectures on Physics and Cosmos by Carl Sagan, and I’m planning to self-study some university-level physics after that. I also want to work on improving my problem-solving skills.

Do you think this would be “enough” for what they’re looking for in a student? I really like physics—it’s been fascinating to me ever since I started studying it. I’d really appreciate any advice on how to move forward.

Thanks!

PS : I’ll be applying next year.
