ADHD stopping me from "getting good" at hobbies?

I am a creative person with a variety of interests but I've struggled with keeping a routine my whole life. I love to play music, read, write, etc. However, I struggle with even finding motivation for my hobbies even though I love them. When I was younger, I used to learn skills quickly and could teach myself from home. Now, I've been playing guitar for many years but can't find focus to improve even though I've done it forever. I get into these "deep focus states" maybe like once or twice a year where I feel like I learn more than I have the whole year within like an hour but those are rare and not consistent. Every other time I engage with my hobbies it's the bare minimum and like I'm on autopilot instead of learning. Any tips? What is this called?
