I'm pretty sure that I suffer from ADHD and I'm scared that if I DON'T get diagnosed with it

I'm a 22yo guy. I have never been diagnosed with anything, but I believe I do suffer from ADHD.
There are just some various things that make me believe so.
Things as: Not being able to read a sentence without having to come back at it, read it again just to realize I didn't concentrate while reading it, again. Or the fact that while I'm focused at doing my stuff on the pc, I literally forget that 5 minutes earlier my mother told me the food is ready; once this also happened while I had the dish on my desk, just at my left. This, plus a lot of other things that I will not write here (for character limitation + I wouldn't want a long post for a subreddit of ADHD people :') ) made me believe I suffered from Maladaptive daydreaming.
The intense hopping around the room while listening to music, not being able to follow the teacher's explanations without thinking about something else.
But now I drove this thought into ADHD.

But I'm really, really afraid of being diagnosed with... nothing; in case I went to a psychiatrist. I'm afraid he just tells me that I'm lazy and I just never learnt my study method.
That was it. Sorry for the worthless post but I needed to tell this to someone. Shortly I will have my first visit with a psychiatrist. I wish everyone an happy day
