Anyone else annoyed by Build-a-figure or collect-to-build parts?

I am. For people who only goes for a certain character it's just a waste of plastics.

But if you prefer figures that contains them, wouldn't you still buy such figure as a whole if completing the collection is the goal?

What are your thoughts?
