Anime with Magic

As the title suggests I’m looking for anime suggestions that have a magic in it. The magic system doesn’t have to be too in depth. One of the anime I like is Black Clover, well I REALLY like it for a reason I don’t know. Things I like in an anime is meaningful sacrifices, I feel like ds & jjk go overkill on their characters so 2-5 semi-main characters seems about right. I also do not want the mc to be op in any way, especially at the beginning. It threw me off in opm bc I knew Saitama could defeat anyone with ease (until cosmic garou arrived) and it got boring (until cosmic garou arrived). Anyways, I dislike when the characters have alot of plot armour. Another thing is I prefer if the anime has decent-good animation and not for the animation to be too old. Just a preference. Also, I like Shonen over isekai, but isekai anime aren’t out of the question. Think that’s pretty much it. Thanks in advance.
