Panel Hub S1 Plus - What can we expect?
So as a long time Aqara lover i had to get the Panel Hub S1 Plus when it was launched a tiny week ago, and it looks great!
With "Matter Bridge" the expectations was through the roof - I could finally display all my stuff from Home Assistant in a pretty way!! But oh boy was i somewhat disappointed.
Just to clarify, i still put it on the wall and love it! Using the 6 dummy switches i get the basic done for that room (roughly). But as everyone often do, we want more.
So here i ask with hopeful eyes; What can we expect future updates to bring us?
Will we get:
- Media controller for Sonos? It's in the app, why not on the wall? Why not add Chromecast while I'm asking.
- A two-way communication through Matter? Or maybe this can be done using a M3 hub? (I'm waiting for G5 Pro cam though). I have quite a few devices, so moving them is really not an option.
- Could we see as many dummy-buttons as we like? That would help a lot while we wait for some big brain to figure out how to feed my needs.
- Update name and icons through matter (not just the app)?
Reason i ask is simple, i don't wanna use an app. When I'm home i want to look at my house that i spend half my money on and all the gadgets that take up the rest.
I would love to see this a bit more open too third-party apps and devices, that would make my world.
