My first purchase at Aritzia and my experience.

Hi! Recently i made a post in here about the only coat and sizing and finally placed my order it came today.

Let me start by saying this coat was back ordered in this size and color and wasn’t suppose to ship until close to the 26th, but it shipped last week and got delivered today.

This is how the coat came straight out of the box..

It was $350

It was packaged in a bag inside of a cardboard box that they seal with an aritzia sticker. When i opened the box and started to lift the bag out i noticed the sticker was a little ripped but who cares about that. So i pull out the coat and try it on and it looks great! I noticed a string hanging from the bottom so i took it off and laid it on my bed to see where it was coming from and then noticed the tear in the lining.

I immediately called their customer service line, was on hold for 40 minutes until i finally got an agent though she was very nice the experience was underwhelming.

The agent basically told me that they can recharge me $350 to place a new order for one until their team determines what to do with the current one i have and i would need to email them photos (which is understandable) but im not paying another $350 because they sent me a damaged item.

This coat was also back ordered in this size and color so what i wanted mostly was them to pay for the repair of the coat so i didn’t have to send it back and wait all over again, which she told me she would be unable to provide me that solution and the team that does the emails would need to take a look at what i send them to determine the outcome.

Overall as a first time customer who spent alot on an item that seems like she got a returned item from a store this experience was 2/10. I don’t know if I’ll be buying more in the future from them though i really wanted to.

Does anyone have any suggestions or have you dealt with the same or similar issue with something you’ve gotten from them?

Is their quality control BAD or do you think i got someone’s return?

Thank you 🤍
