Women's experience self managing matrimony profiles

I (28F) am a recent lurker in this sub. I just about started off my AM process and it's been barely a month.

I have noticed that a lot of the profiles on matrimony sites are self-managed and so I wanted to know if there were women out their managing their own profiles.

I handle most of the process except for initiating contact because my dad thought having him as a buffer would be safer.

Reasons why I haven't done it myself: 1. I worry that someone would misuse my contact information. 2. Not sure how families of prospects would interpret self management of profiles by women. It's stupid to worry about this and I wouldn't want to be with someone who would judge me for it but given how Indian families tend to be, I can't help it.

So, to women who manage their own profiles, how has your experience been like?
