How did silverware come along?

Obviously it wasn’t silverware when it first came along, or maybe it was idk lol. I wonder did it take multiple people to come up with the idea? Did one person come up with all of it? Did one person make the spoon, and eventually somebody else made the fork and knife? Or maybe it came along in a different order. Lol quarantine has me really bored.
