Quoted 3k for this repair, should I DIY?
2010 Prius 190k mi, I have experience doing brakes/rotors and other basic repairs, but am otherwise inexperienced so I wanted to check with the almighty wisdom of reddit mechanics... Is this a straightforward DIY, or should I leave it to the pros on this?
In case the pics don't load, here is a summary of the tech's notes:
SWAY BAR BUSHING MISSING "The front sway bar bushing is missing and/or noisy, and the sway bar can no longer work as designed. This bushing ties the sway bar to the vehicle frame to prevent vehicle roll over. We recommend you repair and/or replace this component today to ensure vehicle safety."
Shocks/Struts are too old and need replacement
Broken wire inside driver side door causing driver's rear window controls to not work.
So, almighty reddit mechanics, what does thy infinite wisdom recommend? DIY or drop the 3k?
