What is exactly is wrong with rental services like StreetEasy for finding apartments?

I’m graduating this year and hoping to move out of my parents apartment asap. I’ve seen a lot of threads on this sub and others complaining about StreetEasy, but using it anyways because it’s the big player here. What exactly are the problems with SE (and other platforms?)
