How to correct this behaviour?

Hi everyone, my Aussie is 4 months old and when we leave the house (3h max), she stays in a small storage room. It is the same place where she sleeps at night. The thing is, when we come home during the day, we always find a giant mess in the room (not pee or poop, just basic destruction of the items in that room). We do have a fence that was supposed to prevent her from getting to such items, but she manage to get them anyway. We don’t know how to discipline her or how to avoid said behaviour. During the night she sleeps well, doesn’t wake up and doesn’t destroy anything. We are thinking about getting a camera, but don’t know if it would help. Does anyone have the same issue with your Aussie? Do you have any tips?
