This is going to be a weird question but: did anyone else also use their hands as “puppets” as a child? Details below.

I was wondering if this is just a children thing or if there’s a relation but I don’t even know how to search for it or even describe it to google. I started to wonder because it’s not like I see a lot of people talk about it.

I used to use my hands as “puppets” or “characters” in their own play and world. Basically, kind of as if they were dinosaurs, I would put my index and thumb together and that would make the mouth. Then the 3 fingers leftover would be like a breed “flair” kind of like how birds use pretty feathers. And sometimes I put together all fingers to create another “breed”. I could spend so much time doing this on my own creating characters in my head.

Have you done this? Does it have a name?
