Special interest alert, meet Thea!

I love sewing and sewing machines. I recently acquired this beautiful Singer Sew-o-matic 401G, and I cannot get over how beautiful she is. Also I name all my machines, its one beautiful family. 🪡

Some facts: - Its the first automated sewing machine by Singer - This particular one is from 1959 - she has a "slant shank", which basically means that the needle has an angle of 30 degrees. That way she is more precise compared to other machines from the time - she has an incredible amount of stitches for the time, including some embroidery stitches!
