Lighting solutions

I am a therapist and I work exclusively telehealth. However, I find all the lights in my face really uncomfortable- which is a problem because clients need to be able to see me. Are there any creative solutions for good lighting for video that doesn't involve a ring light pointed right at me and the big light on overhead? (I'm prepared that there may not be, but I thought I'd ask just in case)

I do already have all the blue light filters and settings on my computer, so that's less of an issue. It's really the lights that make the picture look nice that bother me.

Edit for clarity: I'm on a PC desktop, I use Simple Practice for video sessions (doxy.me as a backup), and I use a CenterCam for my camera because I have a very large screen. Currently I have a ring light to the right of the monitor and a standard shaded desk lamp to the left of the monitor.
