Would you like an Avatar TV (mini)series?

I got this idea from the post about possibilities for A6 and A7. People mentioned the idea for a TV show. Cameron himself has stated that he has lots of ideas for Avatar and could go even further in the sequels but not directing them himself. So I was thinking what about a TV series? Either after A5 comes out or in between the 4 year wait for A4?

Now, I'm unsure whether it'd be directed by Cameron or someone else, though as I understand, TV and film directors jobs differ a bit, with TV directors being less involved and having less control of creative vision of the final product. So Cameron could maybe still direct it or at least co-direct it or be involved in some important way, while not taking the full load of the work involved. For the big cost, well budgets for TV are increasing, so it would be possible to do like an hour long 4 episodes at least imo.

As for the plot, it could literally take place at any point or time on Pandora after first landfall. It could be the early years, exploring first contact, or in the future after the events of A5. Exploring uncontacted tribes and places. Personally, whenever or wherever it takes place, I'd like it to be centered as character driven drama, with human and Na'vi interaction as the heart of the story, with the bigger looming picture of RDA in the background. It could be a nice change for the more action and 'the bigger picture' focused films, and serve as expanding the lore with a more personal touch.
