Is it bad that I'm sticking to the same companions?

As much as I love each and every companion individually, I always end up sticking with Karlach, Lae’zel, and Shadowheart in my party. These three feel like the ultimate dream team, with the perfect balance of tankiness, damage, and healing to handle even the toughest situations.

I’m on my third run now and have tried branching out with other companions, but it just never works out. Especially on Tactician difficulty. For me, Astarion and Gale always seem to get squished by a single hit, while Jaheira, Halsin, and Wyll struggle to keep up in damage. Without my trusty trio, it’s not just challenging but a brutal uphill battle every step of the way.

I know it’s probably a “skill issue” on my part, but Tactician really doesn’t leave much room for error. No matter how much I want to shake things up, I always end up running back to Karlach, Lae’zel, and Shadowheart. Do ya'll have the same experience? Is there a trio you just can’t help but rely on?
