Should AMS have a buffer in box?

Was going to order one from them directly but it's pre-order and will ship in April. The only printing shop close to me has it in stock but they said that they don't have buffers in stock. However the Bambu Lab website says the buffer is included in the box. Is the shop scamming or is this normal?
