Red Rocks/Opening Night Experience

I just want to say, I could not have had more of a seamless experience at Red Rocks. I decided if I wanted good parking, I would have to go hours before doors opened, so I was going to just bite the bullet and be ready to walk. However I showed up at about 5:45, and got parking about 100 feet from the first entrance, where you only have to walk up a good chunk of stairs. Then, once we got in, my seat, Row 4/Seat 90 was a 20 step walk, and it was RIGHT next to the merch stand, the bathrooms and the food.

So, I’m waiting in line for merch, and someone is debating on cutting the line, I could just tell, and so I told him if he bought my shirt, he could cut in front of me. and he did. (if you read this, thanks bro)

Then, (And don’t judge me too hard for this), I was really presuming I would be in hours of traffic after the concert, so at the end of the first chorus of Beautiful Things I left, and made it back to my hotel within 15 minutes and beat all the traffic.

Truly a great experience. Only criticism I have, is that the opener ended at 8:30 and Benson didn’t come on for almost an hour. I was getting pretty restless. I’m sure he had a valid reason, so don’t come for me.
