Donna marrying David in the end was lazy and contrived. She barely reconnects with David and suddenly, they're getting married?

Donna forgot David couldn't stay faithful to her whenever they dated. I mean, she made such a big deal over Noah and Gina and they didn't even hook up.

But she decides it's time to get married with David? It felt like Aaron Spelling wanted the show to end with Donna getting the big wedding, so we got her marrying David, do this whole speech where she whispered the whole text and had another horrible hairstyle (as usual).

I would have much rather see Donna stay single and find success as a fashion designer (certainly not as a hairstylist cuz no one is interested in smoky eyes and peroxide mo haircuts).
