Konohamaru is a representative of the konoha 7 or w.e. the number is. He's not irredeemable. We didn't even get any exposition from Matsuri and the actual battle hadnt even started, as in Matsuri could still be playing her part, or it could be a shinki situation ( like shikamaru described, read the last chapter);. Like holy shiz, let the manga breathe and go back and READ THE OTHER CHAPTERS!
