What musical would have been great with another round (or two) of workshops? What musical was over-workshopped?

I think If/Then needed another year in the incubator, and it would’ve been great. It’s got a great concept, and some great music. All it needed was some cuts, stronger character development, and maybe one or two new songs.

Conversely, I saw AD16 last year, and they’ve been workshopping it for ~15 years. And you can tell. Feels like they (literally) lost the plot. Shame because there’s clearly something in there.
