That’s a wrap! Thank you to everyone who has played along for the last 3 weeks. Once again (as corny as it sounds), I feel like I’ve learned so much throughout this process. Whether you’ve been with us since the very beginning, or just started voting during the last phase— THANK YOU! Games like this only work if there’s active and vocal participants, and that includes the person reading this right now. This is an idea I totally stole from a movie sub and adapting it for r/Broadway has been a blast! Also shoutout to the mods for allowing these daily posts. I know we don’t normally do this type of thing, so everyone’s participation is so appreciated. Yesterday, we got over 40 thousand views. Thank you all for indulging in this game I hyper-fixated on creating the day after the election. It’s been thought provoking and FUN and a genuinely needed distraction. Thank y’all for real!

While we have had plenty of players throughout this process, I specifically want to thank a couple of people who quite literally kept this game going in the first week. Before this caught momentum, these dedicated users were arguing in the comments daily— allowing us to actually get to this point. Some of these people were my sounding board as the list was being formed back in November, and some of these people are just plain consistent players that I am so grateful for.
