Who will be the next National Champs not from the B1G, SEC, or named Clemson/Florida State?

The last time a team not currently in those two conferences, other than the aforementioned Clemson and Florida State, won a NC, it was Miami in 2001. Before that, it was Miami in 1991 (split with Washington, who is now B1G).

Do you think it's possible for a team outside that footprint to go all the way anymore? Do you see it happening? If so, who and how long will it be before it happens?
