So, he’s technically still alive in a way, since he’s stuck dealing with the curse of immortality. His body is just left behind in the overworld, basically an empty shell sitting on the throne.

It makes me wonder if there’s a chance he could come back. I honestly don’t think they’ll leave his body there forever. There could be some kind of plot progression after the AQ. Natlan’s story isn’t finished yet, so I’m not giving up hope for my king🥲
