Alpine iLX-W650BT problem while on call via Bluetooth

Hey guys, have you ever had a problem with Alpine iLX-W650BT where iPhone connected via Bluetooth keeps "pausing" a phone call? My unit is 2 months old and everything worked just fine for a while but now every time I connect my iPhone 14 to it and try to make or receive a call, the call itself sounds like someone is constantly pressing play-pause. You can't hear anything except for something that I would describe as a constant beep that goes on every half a second.

I tried forgetting the device(s) vice versa and it helped for a call or two but then it started doing that again. Also tried connecting a different iphone - same problem. Android phone works fine.
