Looking at a Honda Pilot with "Structural Damage" - Possible Purchase but have questions
Hi all,
I am going to look at a 2023 Honda Pilot (50K miles) for $27K today. After looking at the Carfax, I saw that an accident had been reported. This is what it says:
Damage Report Structural damage disclosed by seller based on results of a visual inspection
- Accident reported: minor to moderate damage
- Vehicle hit while parked
- Damage to right rear
- Vehicle towed
- Airbags did not deploy
- Vehicle sold (Structural damage may impact vehicle safety and reliability. Get the unibody or frame of the vehicle inspected by a professional.)
The vehicle has been for sale since 12/19/2024. It seems like the accident happened when it was brand new. As it was reported on 5/16, and then the title was issued on 5/21 with 27 miles on it.
Can you help me make sense of this?
