Cringey Question

Alright, so assume I know little to nothing about carpentry. I have some property, time, and a little money on my hands. I would love to start building A-Frames and eventually move to cabins on my property. Electric/Plumbing the whole nine. I’m in a position to take classes and I don’t really have friends that are in this business so I can’t necessarily get help. My wife and I really want this to be a skill in our book. What would be your advice? I pretty much have learned everything I have put my mind to and I’m very able bodied.
