cat will not allow me to sleep, it’s making me miserable.

My cat who is about 1 year old right now has been the problem child since we rescued her, though these recent months (starting in about november or so) she’s been affecting my sleep GREATLY.

im a student so i would enjoy to be able to sleep longer than an hour or two a night, my cat will do everything in her power to make sure she can prevent that. I’ve tried just ignoring it and not giving in to her attempts to bother me but if it don’t she will and HAS broken many of my things. As soon as i come to bed she somehow stops being tired and makes it her job to prevent me from sleeping, i’ve resorted to going downstairs and sleeping in the living room most nights at this point as a result.

She usually only ever woke me up because she wanted more food but i made my cats feeding time later (was about 8:30-9:00pm, now is 10:30pm), at first it was working but now it seems she’s just bored. I’ve tried playing with her and my other cat before bed and during the day but it did nothing.

And i know someone will say to shut her out of my room during the night, i am unable to. whenever i did used to do this she broke multiple glasses, pictures, snow globes, it goes on. I can’t be responsible for it anymore. im seriously losing my mind, im so exhausted everyday at school, anything else i should try to fix this?
