French language in FSSP/ICRSS seminars

Hi,

I am a 25 year old young man who is seriously considering priestly life in a traditional seminary of the Ecclesia Dei groups.

I would like to know, from someone I know, if in order to access these French-speaking seminars it is necessary to have a command of French or some basic notions.

My French is very limited and I wouldn't like to be left out without being able to enter because of that. I trust in the good work of the immersion and the environment, as well as that the first year, being preparatory, will be calmer than the following ones.

However, it is a topic that worries me quite a bit that they are going to veto me. Does anyone know of a case of a family member/friend who entered without knowing it or with a low level and was accepted?
