What’s your thoughts on MAPPA’s handing of Chainsaw Man?

I personally think it’s dreadful.

I’ve always said that adapting only up to the katana man arc for season 1 wasn’t the best choice as those amount of arcs don’t show chainsaw man at its best.

Then added with the Reze Arc will being a movie, i didn’t that was a good idea, I would’ve preferred for it to have been a episode format because its begs the question whether they’ll do what demon slayer did and make it also into episode format for season 2 or go straight into the international assassins arc. It’s just confusing for those who don’t really know how these stuff works

And the movie was announced last year and we still haven’t received any news about it since. It’s sloppy. Furthermore with the movie being the next chainsaw man content we’re going to get, when are we actually going to get season 2? 2027?

Mappa is one of my favourite anime studios, but gosh their handling of Chainsaw Man and their other IPs have been ass. If it was going to be this long and annoying, I would’ve liked another studio to have adapted Chainsaw Man
