How do Christians read the bible and just accept it as truth?
Hey guys, to preface this I am a Christian myself
After asking hundreds of testimonies from Christians, the overwhelming majority of conversions are emotional
The Christian morals, lifestyle, community, hope, universal explanation, etc. appeals to people and they subsequently believe since they see a positive change in their life.
My question is, how on earth do so few Christians question whether the bible is truth?
How can they read something so fantastical, to some extent mythological and not doubt its authenticity?
Is it the work of the Holy Spirit that enables people to believe without logic or evidence?
The atheist explanation of this kind of faith makes sense to me, so if a Christian could explain it I'd be grateful
(I'm not saying all Christian's believe this way, just anecdotally a LOT of the ones that I know)
Thanks!
