Love Each Other
When Paul wrote to the Ephesians in 5:25, saying “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it:,” he means that we should love each other unconditionally, no matter what we do to each other. This includes forgiving anyone, no matter how unjust you see their actions as. For example, Jeffrey Dahmer, despite being a serial killer, repented of the sins that he committed throughout his lifetime because he was shown the mercy of God. It’s this type of love that uplifts and upholds us, holding us accountable for our wrong doings, so that we may repent and draw even closer to God. We are not called on this Earth to break people down, but rather, to raise them up. No matter how far gone we think we truly are, God will still love us no matter what. If anyone who sees this has any questions, feel free to ask.
