Uttar Pradesh guy moving to Tamil Nadu

Hello Kovai. I am a central government employee, moving in a week to Coimbatore (Earlier I wasn't sure). All i gathered from my previous post on r/TamilNadu is about friendliness and language barrier thing (0.001% hindi understanding) which is fine for me. I can work it out. All I want to ask: 1) around gandhipuram or near station, good place to stay for 2 days (any good reasonable hotel oyo etc) 2) I have a friend with me so we are looking for 2 seater PG with food included for next few months. Budget is less than 8-9k per person. Our priority is distance, security and food. If anyone has any leads or give a hunch about expected rates of city PG. 3) Good restaurants to try, I can south indian cuisine and better if i get UP food items too. Daal chawal roti. 4) Nanba, Epdi Eruke, Aama Aama etc i have learnt. Teach more.
