Very odd fraud on 'never lost' Costco Visa card: $814 in GROCERIES 1000mi away in a city I've never been! Is an 'inside job' possible?

EDIT: Mea culpa, my wife remembered what I could not. My sister borrowed my card to cater a work event she traveled to St Louis for! She doesn't have her own because there isn't a Costco in her town, and then for some reason she charged it on my card instead of one of her own. I utterly forgot, it was a crazy summer with my 91 yo mom breaking her hip and us having to move her into an assisted living THAT WEEK. I guess my memory is getting as bad as hers! Sorry for wasting everyone's time, and thanks for trying to help.

I caught this charge from July while preparing my business's tax data, I guess I originally thought it was an appliance purchase glancing at my statement, I manage rentals and often buy appliances in that price range, some from Costco. It's reported and card being reissued.

I've seen card fraud before, but this seems really odd to me, I've never lost my card, yet someone in St Louis apparently had a physical copy of my Costco Visa, and charged $814 worth of GROCERIES! Not TVs, jewelry booze or other easily resalable items. WTF? That makes no sense for a scammer or rando. There's been no other charges in the 6 months since! Is there any way for a Costco employee to pull this off? It seems impossible but I'm at a loss to come up with another plausible scenario that fits the facts.
