Cruise Culture
Curious if my observations are either a) crazy or b) limited to Norwegian Cruise Lines.
If someone complains about ridiculously long lines at embarkations or disembarkations, other passengers say “it’s not the cruise line’s fault!”
If someone had medications in lost luggage, it’s “don’t you know not to put your medication in checked baggage?”
If someone says, there were extra charges on my bill but I didn’t get the PDF until after getting off the ship, it’s “always check your bill daily at Guest Services or on the app.”
If someone is stranded on an excursion, it’s “should’ve known better.”
Airline passengers never defend the airline when someone is bumped. Curious why cruisers are a different breed?
