What do internal meetings look like for you in customer success?
I’m in tech sales and am starting to feel like the hassle of our internal meetings, pipe meetings, forecast meetings, 1:1’s are MORE DIFFICULT than the actual customer interactions.
I am sick and tired of the internal meetings and constantly giving leadership the same update, all the while they all respond hOw cAn I HeLp?
How about this - collect your high base salary and continue dashboard surfing, and stay the fuck away from me while I crunch quota!
I am SICK of the quarterly business reviews, forecast meetings, micromanagey 1:1’s, constant team outings, fake camaraderie …
My second kid was just born, and I’ve got a nice savings buffer.
I just want to tone things down a bit and potentially shift to an account management or customer success role.
Am I crazy? Are there just as many internal meetings?
Does customer success also do internal QBRs and other stupid leadership update meetinfs like we have in sales?
Your perspective is very much appreciated.
