Patients

It even started in a new practice, oddly enough, the hours, the pay and the staff are amazing. The Dr is a little weird but very nice. However, the majority of patients are insanely rude, racist and just not very nice overall. They’ve said some pretty racist stuff, politically incorrect stuff, sexist stuff and completely lack compassion for others. The Dr is great and seems very caring, but once she’s with this patients, she agrees and keeps the conversation going. I’m an immigrant, so some of this comments really struck me the wrong way even if they are not directly related to my nationality. When the patients leave they are always happy and smiling and wish me good luck with my career, but it’s like they’re a different person when on the chair. I try to just ignore the comments and move on with my life because at the end of the day I still get paid, but I wonder how mean can a person be for no reason. Just venting since I won’t be leaving any time soon because pay and hours are the best around town.
