Traveling to El Salvador, My Experience

This is to all of the people who post here (myself included) “Is El Salvador Safe to Travel to”, “How Safe is El Salvador”, blah blah blah.

I spent the last 9 days in ES, traveling around much of the western part of the country (Ahuachepan, Atiquizaya, Santa Ana, Rutas De Las Flores, etc) and not once did I feel like I was ever in any danger. I am a mid 20s white dude, red hair, white af skin so sure I got some stares, but overall zero issues whatsoever. Obviously if you go looking for trouble, you’ll probably find it, but that applies to every city/country.

ES has some of the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever met, and would highly encourage people to visit.

Already looking forward to my next trip there.

My only complaint are the rouge mariachi bands that follow you around in any of the touristy spots lol
