Should i get surgery done?

Hi, i have an endometrioma size of 8cm on my left ovary, i found out about it 4 months ago and all my doctors told me to use conservative treatment. i have tried pop and combined contraceptives in these 4 months and it went from 9cm to 8cm. should i just get the surgery done to get it over with or wait it out?
