SERIOUS QUESTION

For all of you elder ladies and gentlemen, could I get your advice. I'm 77 years old, always a car guy and now want tI get an F1 simulator system.. so, how hiw long will it take me to get use to young the game. Live F1 but want a steering wheel. Looks really complex are other controllers better for use In a large screen tv? Any advice appreciated.
