Leadform submissions w/ slight email domain misspellings

Today I got a few lead form submissions where my automated email to them bounced. In each case the email address domain extension seemed slightly misspelled. For example “[email protected]”and “[email protected]”. Is this just a coincidence or is there some bot strategy here?
