Are people are out of their minds

Has anyone else had problems like this?? Just recently moved and in need of a sectional and went to Facebook marketplace place because I’m into sustainability and thrifting. Saw a sectional listed for $600 and it looked old, covered in stains, pillows were fucked… idk what’s wrong with some people on fb marketplace nowadays or if it’s just me?
