New to this game, hate the fucking sword

Seriously, I’m doing alright at actual gunfights but every game without fail my shit gets pushed in by some crackhead jumping all over the place with that cursed Typhoon Blade. Is this a ‘seasonal’ weapon that will be removed at some point or am I just going to have to try and learn to counter it because it’s doing my head in at the moment…
