Why not autoclaim?

I'm a new player, but I only play Festival. I'm considering trying Crew so I can download some songs.

I realized last night that there's a bunch of stuff you can claim as you play, even for free, but you have to either set up autoclaim or manually go in and check for rewards.

Is there any reason for me to not just set all the passes to autoclaim?
