My AW died and I wanted a robust tacticool do-it-all-watch and gazed at Tactix 7 but bought a used 5X+ and it turned out to be a great choice
Joining the pack with my first ever Garmin watch coming from charge-everyday-Apple. I was scary close on getting a Tactix 7 but realized $700-1000 was just too much - and I’m so happy I did. Got this 5X+ sapphire with no scratches on crystal for $110, gave it a deep clean, bought the fancy nylon band, and a new battery - which I didn’t even replace yet - turns out the old battery still holds over 2 weeks charge between 90% and 20% with 24/7 wear and 3h GPS activity. I don’t understand how. Used tech can be great. MIP is genius!
