James sets the LGBT Community back, not forward

I liked James at first, but as I continued watching it became abundantly clear to me that the writers for the series were on a one-track mind with this character.

James' defining personality aspect is that he is gay. From the "Titans Pride" on the locker in ep.1, to his "it's getting really cis-het up in here" line in ep.5, James really wants to remind the audience that he is in fact homosexual.

As a bisexual teen in the early 2010s, I was always hoping we'd reach a point where gay guys in cinema are treated as casually as straight guys. But instead, they're still standing out like a sore thumb and making other people uncomfortable by talking about how they're a "sexy cat" every 5 minutes. Jesus Christ...
