Did Eros and Thanatos ever met?

I was reading Freud and the idea that those two gods didn't had any "cannon" relation until some guy decided to used them as categories names sounds really curious to me, I tried searching for this on Google but obviously it's hard to find things really related to mythology when it's such an important part of psychology
