No OBs then WHAM! (And not the cool band). Help!

Hi guys. So I've had HSV2 for five years (old boyfriend didn't disclose during an outbreak--fun) and it's been okay, really only the first two outbreaks EXCEPT for I've had two in the last two months and now I'm freaking out. I'm on acyclovir 400mg 2x/day for suppression which I double during an OB.

I eat healthy and don't smoke and...I don't know what's going on or what to do. I wonder if it's because last month I got the flu/covid jab (non-MRNA) and this month I just had strep+mystery virus (likelyRSV)...maybe it just pushed everything over the edge? Has anyone else had a period of flareups and then things go back to normal? I'm scared that this is just going to be my life now and am hoping you kind people might be able to offer some words of solace. Thanks <3
