Is Hair transplant worth it ?

Hi fellow redditors, I'm looking for advice. I just turned 40 and my crown area is completely bald. My hairline is receding as well but not as bad as the crown. It kills me every time I see a photo of me from behind. I feel like taking a black marker and painting my bald spot 😂.

Anyways, I have been lurking here in the group for a few days with a lot mixed emotions ranging from happiness from seeing brothers get their hair back to being amazed to being motivated and shit scared sometimes.

Just wanted to ask you guys if hair transplant is still an option for regrowing my crown hair and how many grafts would I need.
